Creating & inspiring the next generation of developers & Data Scientists

Learn from the best and launch a new path through gSchool's immersive developer training programs, or gain an edge with a gSchool workshop.

FULL STACK

Full Stack Web & Software Development

We turn smart, driven beginners into marketable, contributing members of development teams over the course of our 24-week long developer training programs. Our full stack curriculum includes Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Javascript, CSS3,  HTML5,  Responsive Design, Database, APIs, Version Control, and Test Driven Development - but our main focus is Rails.

DATA SCIENCE

12-Week Full Stack Data Science Immersive Programs

We teach practical, industry-focused data science skills through hands-on work with real data sets from our partner companies. The curriculum covers statistical analysis, machine learning, software engineering, and data at scale. This curriculum is based on feedback from partner companies (including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Eventbrite) about what skills they would most like to see developed in our graduates.

12-Week Data Science Immersive Programs:

SAN FRANCISCO - APRIL 2015

SAN FRANCISCO - JUNE 2015

Galvanize has workshops for any level, beginner to expert, and across multiple disciplines.  Find workshops in web development, Ruby, Python, UX/UI, data science, machine learning, marketing, finance, and more.

It doesn't matter if you have just a couple hours, a day, or weeks.  We have a workshop that will fit your schedule.

GSCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

At gSchool, we are dedicated to the mission of de-homogenizing the tech industry and providing more opportunities to change lives for more people from more backgrounds. For each of our Full Stack courses, we will offer partial scholarships worth up to $5000 to women, veterans and under-represented people in the tech industry.

gSchool Lead Instructor, Boulder

gSchool Lead Instructor, Boulder

Jeff Dean

Jeff has over 10 years of experience writing software and leading development teams large and small. Outside of gSchool, Jeff might be playing upright bass & guitar, sleeping late, and eating copious amounts of cheddar cheese. Jeff moved to Colorado from New York while working with Pivotal Labs. His favorite movie is When Harry Met Sally, and he's considering making it a pre-req for gSchool.

Aaron Gray

Aaron began programming by selling custom MySpace profiles to sister bands on tour. Aaron is a serial entrepreneur and author who grew an acquired startup, contributes to OSS, organizes several meetups yet still can not spell entrepreneur without looking it up. AFK, Aaron is likely reading science fiction, watching foreign films, or playing guitar.

Luke has a background in video editing and began programming in early 2014. A gSchool graduate himself, Luke is passionate about learning, teaching & making cool things. Zach Klabunde

Zach went through our first gSchool Boulder class, and was born with an itch for tech-- he built his first website at age 12. It was a simple forum board for students to talk to each other, but it also got him in trouble and suspended from school!  He later started his own iPhone customization & repair company which eventually led him back to the world of software development.

Martha Berner

A graduate of the gSchool Boulder cohort, Martha found her way to web development as a result of being broke on the road while touring to support her latest albums. She is a singer / songwriter who plays guitar and harmonica (& bad trumpet from her high school marching band days.) Martha also loves the ocean, hiking, yoga, and great food & wine. Harold and Maude is her gSchool pre-req movie selection.

John Foley

Hailing from Colorado, John is a Senior Software Engineer at Pivotal Labs in San Francisco. John's other true loves include cats (no kidding!), video games, the Japanese language, whiskey and yoga. He does not love IPA's or people who stare at their cell phones instead of minding where they walk (these are public walkways, people!)

Bobby Wilson

Bobby got his programming start as a Macromedia Director making an interactive yearbook companion CD in high school. Following this, he found his way into the world of ActionScript in Flash, and went to college for Interactive Media Design. Bobby has spent the past seven years writing software and has focused on internet related technologies. He looks forward to changing the lives of students through teaching software development.
